Oriented towards New and Digital technologies, the Euro-Mediterranean Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Congress 2023 (MEDomfs23) “Digital Evolution in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery”, took place in Limassol between 27-29 September 2023; and drew the attention of scientists from all over the world to Cyprus.

More specifically, the specialized conference attracted Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dentists, Plastic Surgeons, Otorhinolaryngologists, health professionals, trainees, medical students, and nurses. The scientific committee of “MEDomfs23” consisted of members from the National Maxillofacial Surgery Scientific Societies of Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Italy, Spain, and Serbia. In addition, the guest societies sessions and the joint scientific symposium co-organized by the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery (EACMFS) and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS), disrupted the participants’ previous conference experiences.

More than 25 respected keynote speakers from around the world participated in the conference delivering interesting presentations, workshops and masterclasses. In addition, parallel activities, such as a medical sponsor exhibition, engaged the delegates throughout the conference and offered them the opportunity to explore new products and services that make their professional daily lives smarter and easier. Finally, the planned social activities aimed at creating unforgettable memories in Summer Limassol.

The organizers hosted a Gala dinner unlike any other. A unique culinary experience on the private beach of Marina Limassol. While the night cruise party along the coastline of Limassol was probably the most suitable way to enjoy Limassol at night with music, drinks, and food on board! It is reminded that the ‘MEDomfs23’ was organized by the Cyprus Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (CYAOMS) and was held under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Health, the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS) and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS).
